"I would recommend Caitlin to anyone I know looking for a designer. She is incredibly professional, thorough and FAST. She took my scribbles, thoughts and bits of information and turned them into something beautifully authentic to me. She brought a dream to life in a way I never thought possible. Highly recommend!"

Sharing this project with the world was on Pete Jone's heart for a while, but it wasn't until his first daughter was born that he really felt the Lord telling him it was time.
As a first time dad, he was struggling with "dad brain," especially in his walk with the Lord. He felt like God was speaking to him constantly, but he would forget to listen.
So, he started laying out drafts of the Kairos Journal until he found one that he was confident enough to share with some close friends. After seeing the impact it was making, he knew it was time to make his dream a reality.
After working through several different concepts for the logo, we landed on a beautifully simple monoline mark resembling mountains — representing the Christian's continued climb towards deeper communion with God.
The journal mirrors this simplicity and minimalism with clean typography, open space, and organized structure. They launched their Kickstarter and almost immediately surpassed their funding goal. So, so proud of them!
A special thanks to Pete and his wife for their huge hearts and wonderful collaboration. Shoutout to Taylor Riedeman for the beautiful messaging strategy, and to Preston Goff for the videography.
