Samantha Immer Photography captures joyful and romantic photos that tell the story of a couple and their wedding day.

Samantha, the founder, was referred to Ember & Co by Kira Whitney Photography — another beloved Ember & Co client (and the sweet soul responsible for ALL of Ember & Co's brand photography).

Samantha had always wanted a job where she could help people. She's honored to capture some of life's biggest moments for people and help them (especially women) feel confident in their photos. When they look back on them, they are able to see the whole story and remember how fun it was and how beautiful they felt; not how they were worried about their arms or their nose. Samantha strives to take wedding planning stress away and finds deep joy in making the couple's life a little easier during an otherwise very stressful season of life.

FOR HER NEW BRAND, SHE HAD THE FOLLOWING GOALS:

  • A whimsical logo that tells a story
  • A brand that aligns with her love for the Colorado mountains, adventure, coffee, and down-to-earth couples
  • A visual identity that's simple, timeless, and unique.

As always, we started from the ground up with an extensive strategy and inspiration board process. This ensures that we're on the same page as we dive into the brand design process.

For the final logo, we landed on a bespoke, hand-drawn mountain scene. The river makes a subtle "S" shape, and we added some whimsy with some stars in the night/dusk sky.

A special thanks to Samantha for being an absolute joy to collaborate with. You are seriously such a gem!
